Spring Light

Between the bountiful Willamette Valley and the rainforest of the Coast Range, there’s a lovely stretch of road down King’s Valley. It’s as idyllic and bucolic as Oregon back roads get, complete with covered bridges, curiosities, and grazing sheep.

Old barns reside here, nestled against second-growth Douglas fir.  Rusty corrugated roofs, paint peeling, but catching the early spring light like some illustration in an illuminated script.
